Once & Someday does not require an account, and Zeus Apps does not operate a server that receives your personal archive.

Your archive

Moments, Horizons, Journey updates, people, and media are stored on your device. On both Free and Pro, the archive may sync through your private Apple iCloud account when available.

Calendar suggestions

Calendar suggestions are processed entirely on your device using the calendars connected to iOS, including any Google or other accounts you have added to Apple Calendar. Once & Someday never connects to calendar services directly, and events are not sent to Zeus Apps. Candidates remain temporary, and nothing is saved until you review and confirm it.

Analytics and purchases

Once & Someday may send anonymous product-interaction events to PostHog, on servers hosted in the European Union, to understand feature usage. These events record which screens and controls are used, never Moment or Horizon titles, stories, notes, names, locations, calendar event content, or media. They are not linked to an identity: Once & Someday sends no account, email address, or advertising identifier, and no personal profile is created. Crash reports are included so faults can be found and fixed. Screen or session recording is never used. Analytics and crash reports can be turned off together in Settings. RevenueCat and Apple process purchase and entitlement information required for Once & Someday Pro. Their own privacy policies apply.

Permissions

Photos, microphone, Contacts, Calendar, notifications, and Face ID are requested only when you use the related feature. You can decline them and change access in iOS Settings. Once & Someday does not sell personal data or use advertising trackers.

Notifications

Reminders are optional and scheduled locally. If you turn them on, you choose Memories, Horizon check-ins, or both before iOS asks for permission. Moment and Horizon titles are visible by default. Hide titles in Settings replaces them with private wording.

Reflections, suggestions, Storybooks, and widgets

Reflections and supported title suggestions are processed on your device. Storybook PDFs are created locally in a temporary file and go only where you choose through the iOS share sheet. Widgets read a limited selection from Once & Someday’s private shared app container to display selected content on your Home Screen.

Export and restoration

Complete archive export and restoration are available on Free and Pro. Restoration adds missing items without replacing current versions. Your export includes readable data and the media stored in your archive.
